The mission of Friends of Wappapello Lake (formerly the Wappapello Lake Area Association) is to provide support to the Corps of Engineers and businesses and organizations in the Wappapello Lake area, helping to provide safe and healthy recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages and abilities, while promoting economic growth in the tri-county area.

Life is Better at Wappapello Lake

The Friends of Wappapello Lake typically meets each month (except August) on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wappapello Lake Visitor Center. The public is encouraged to attend meetings and to become involved in the activities of the Association.
